Barcelona High School: New American School in Barcelona

Barcelona High School is a new American school in Barcelona, great for English speaking expat families, from 7th to 12th grade for students with ages 12 - 18 who want to attend school taught in English, and have goals of attending university in USA, or English speaking universities in Spain, or an English speaking university anywhere in the world such as the UK.

At BHS, students are taught to learn independently and be in charge of the educational success through learning coaches and assignment monitors.  Because students learning about time management and superior study habit, they because confident and independent learners.

Students learn in a small class where they develop a close knit group of friends and have a nice social life without the problems of getting lost on a large traditional student campus. Every week students do non-academic activities such as movement therapy or group activity projects to make sure students create a social bond. 

All courses are fully accredited and NCAA approved by universities in the US. BHS students receive an accredited US high school diploma upon graduation. 

Besides being created to help students in Barcelona obtain an excellent American academic education, BHS was also created for student athletes who want to attend university in USA on athletic scholarship. 

BHS is located in the most central part of Barcelona, where students attend classes in-person with native English teacher instruction. BHS, also provides university admission assistance to help students get into their university of choice.
